I know a lot of you have been waiting (impatiently) for me to weight in with my opinion on the London 2012 Olympics logo and the surrounding hoopla of support, criticism, and public scrutinty. First I’d like to say that there has been an astounding amount of information posted in the past couple of days. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a logo get so much press. I see logo discussion happen pretty regularly on the design sites I frequent, but that’s it. Regular people usually don’t care when Sprint or At&t update their logos. For some reason regular people see fit to have strong opinions and rant at length about the London 2012 Olympics logo.
Here’s my opinion – who cares! Seriously, few things annoy me more than the internet and the poeple who use it. Get over it! It’s just a freaking logo! Big Deal!
