how to paint a painting … the Ben Swift way. I find that I follow this process a lot. I paint start one direction, then go another way, sometimes taking 3 or 4 tracks before I figure out where I’m going. So I thought I could take you along on the ride.

First make something.

Then decide you aren’t loving it and paint over it. Then try again.

Then cover that with something.

Then decide what you want to do and start going for it.
