updated:
I decided to do something a little different with my Pink Monster art print, namely printing each image in a different color combination of 7 colors. I got this idea the other night. Actually it is an old idea that I wanted to do with the eyeskull prints but never got through it all the way.
OK so the point is that with 7 colors you first print 7 copies of each color in one screen, then 7 of each in another screen, not doubling up the same color on each.
7×7=49. And rather than printing the same color twice I just left off the second pass to make a color bg/white monster piece.
| color | hot pink | red | orange | yellow | green | neon blue | purple |
| hot pink | x white | x | x | x | x | x | x |
| red | x | x white | x | x | x | x | x |
| orange | x | x | x white | x | x | x | x |
| yellow | x | x | x | x white | x | x | x |
| green | x | x | x | x white | x | x | |
| neon blue | x | x | x | x | x | x white | x |
| purple | x | x | x | x | x | x | x white |
as you can see from this highly scientific chart, there are many exciting color combinations. what you can’t see is how cool they are looking, even without the final color. I will post pics of the process soon!
