Isometric random color generator

A while ago now, maybe two years, I made a random color generator in Flash a while back, and I have used it  in a variety of ways, and then forgot about it. Then today I saw some “digital” art  that reminded me of a way I could use it to create interesting isometric style geometric patterns by overlaying random colors and transparencies.

It’s 5 layers of cube grids and each cube has a top, left, and right panels, each of which has a random color applied and then is given a random transparency between 50 and 100%. The results can be quite nice. Ultimately, I could not recreate what the digital artist produced, due to the lack of human interaction with the grid shapes and making specific color choices, but I think the results can be quite nice.
